Who we are

Curata is based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy covers the curata.si website. Work we do with pilot partners is covered by the agreement we sign with each partner.

What we collect

Contact form. Your name, company, email, optional phone number, the repeating task you describe, and how you heard about us if you choose to say. The form is sent to us by email so we can reply.

Call bookings. When you book a call, cal.com collects your name, email, the time you pick and your answers to its questions, and shares them with us to schedule the call.

Where you came from. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source) or from another website, your browser stores that source, the page you landed on and the referring site for 90 days. The source is included in the usage statistics below, and the full details reach us if you send the form or book a call, so we know which channels bring people to us.

Pages you read. Your browser keeps a list of the pages you view on this site, with the time of each visit, how long it was on screen and how far you scrolled, for 90 days. The list stays in your browser unless you send the form or book a call. Then it is sent with your message or booking, so we can prepare for the conversation. It is off whenever usage statistics are off, and turning them off deletes it.

How the site is used. To improve these pages, we record where visitors click, how far they scroll and how long each section is on screen, along with the page, screen size and the campaign or site that referred them. This uses no cookies. These statistics don’t include your IP address or anything that recognises you between visits, and we respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can turn them off for your browser under Your choices.

Server logs. Like most websites, our host keeps standard logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and secure the site.

What we leave out

The site has no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own server.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule and hold calls, decide whether a pilot is a good fit, understand which channels bring people to the site, and improve its pages. We don’t sell your information.

Who processes it

Hostinger hosts the website and our email. Cal.com handles call bookings. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and booking details while we’re in conversation with you and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. The stored source in your browser expires after 90 days, and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@curata.si. If you aren’t satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
